MCA offers parking at the adjacent garage located at 220 E Chicago Ave.

  • The garage entrance is just west of the museum on Chicago Avenue.

  • Parking validation is available at the museum for discounted rates.

Additional public parking lots and metered street parking are available nearby. We encourage the use of public transit or rideshare when possible.

Chicago is served by two major airports:

  • O’Hare International Airport (ORD) – approximately 45–60 minutes by car

  • Midway International Airport (MDW) – approximately 30–45 minutes by car

By Public Transit

  • CTA Red Line – Exit at Chicago Avenue and walk 3 blocks east

  • CTA Bus Routes – #3 King Drive, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, and #157 Streeterville/Taylor all stop near the museum
